This Privacy Policy has been prepared in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (the „GDPR“).

2. What Personal Data We Process
We obtain personal data primarily directly from you when you use our website, through contact forms, by e-mail communication, or during recruitment processes.
Depending on how you use our website or communicate with us, we may process:

However, certain data may be necessary in order to handle your enquiry, prepare an offer, or enable your participation in a recruitment process; without such data, we may be unable to process your request. Certain technical data are processed automatically when you use the website.
None of the processing of personal data described in this Privacy Policy involves automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
3. Purposes for Which We Process Personal Data
Website Visits
When you visit our website, we process necessary technical data primarily for the purposes of:

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in ensuring the proper and secure operation of the website pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The legal basis is:
- taking steps prior to entering into a contract pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, or
- our legitimate interest in conducting business communications pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Applicants for Employment or Cooperation
If you send us your CV, portfolio, or other materials in connection with an employment or cooperation opportunity, we will process your personal data for the purposes of:
- assessing your application,
- conducting the recruitment process,
- communicating with you in connection with the recruitment process,
- potentially entering into an employment relationship or another contractual relationship.
For the duration of the recruitment process, the legal basis for processing is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
After the recruitment process has ended, we may retain the data for no more than 6 months for the purpose of protecting and defending our legal claims. The legal basis for this subsequent processing is our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
If we wish to retain your data for future employment opportunities for a longer period, we will ask you for separate consent. Giving consent is voluntary, and refusing to give it will have no effect on the current recruitment process.
4. Retention Period
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fullfil the purpose for which they were collected, or for the period required by applicable law.
Typically:
- technical data from website visits (logs, IP addresses) for as long as necessary to ensure security and, as a rule, for 12 months thereafter,
- data from business communications for as long as necessary to handle the communication and any subsequent cooperation,
- applicant data for the duration of the recruitment process and subsequently for no more than 6 months for the purpose of protecting and defending legal claims,
- data processed on the basis of consent until the consent is withdrawn or for the period specified when consent was given.
When processing personal data, we implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect them against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or unauthorised disclosure.
After the applicable retention period has expired, we securely delete or anonymise the data.
5. Who Personal Data May Be Disclosed To
To the extent necessary, personal data may be disclosed to our suppliers and partners who assist us with the operation of our services and website.
These include, in particular, providers of:
- hosting services,
- cloud services,
- e-mail and communication tools,
- analytics and marketing tools,
- accounting, tax, or legal services.
Depending on the services used, our processors may include, in particular, Google Ireland Limited, Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, and Cloudflare, Inc.
Personal data may also be disclosed to public authorities where we are required to do so by applicable law.
6. Transfers of Personal Data Outside the European Economic Area
Some of our suppliers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area.
Where such transfers take place, we ensure an adequate level of protection through mechanisms provided for by the GDPR, in particular on the basis of an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, or other appropriate safeguards.
